The bad thing, is that in a lot of kids, that’s true. They don’t know how to socialize with real people. They can’t spell. They can’t write.
Recently a journalist student wrote a real good article in the University paper on how we’ve actually “dummied” ourselves down with technology. Using u r, brb, sol, etc. instead of spelling words because we’re lazy, using spell check and not bothering to actually learn how to spell, etc.
Ever talk to someone, and say out loud, “LOL!”
Hey, me too.
They’ll make money. Yeah, like the Nigerian scam. Go on webs cut and paste beautiful pics of girls, get some idiot American guy to think HE is a “she” and cry that they need money…Idiot American sends Credit card money or other methods, cry some more, more money….
How about teach the kids to grown crops and clean the water and set up cleaner methods to clean area and reduce disease? Computers are ok, but take loads of petrol products and water to make them and is hard on environment.
Head of Imani Primary is right. Geeze, she’s like that pelvis-faced guy from Mask.
im currently doing a research project for school and a small section of it is concerned with the digital divide. While doing it i remembered this video haha. Thanks Rocketboom for giving me something interesting to write about ^_^
It was an albino woman. Also, Muslims in Kenya are known for killing albino’s, because they think that their bones have powerful magic within them.
what the fuck was that at the end of the video?hahahahahahaha
1:43 We have made contact.
That little girl was so cute!
“as a born and raised New Yorker”
You say this as if it gave you credibility. Simply hilarious. This is what happens when people grow up in New York; they believe the world revolves around them. Thanks for the lulz and ad hominem attacks. Your attempt at argumentation has failed before you even made a point. ^L^
“You’re are simply ignorant”?
Anyway, she spoke clearly enough not to need subtitles, regardless of her accent.
It depends on where you go. They do have internet in cities and towns, but usually not in rural areas.
Almost everyone in Kenya speaks English.
Haha, as a born and raised New Yorker, you are speaking to the wrong part of America. Maybe people don’t speak normal in your backwaters-incest-ridden GED school, but as for the parts of America where education is /actually/ important, she speaks perfectly fine and does not need subtitles.
Maybe you are just racist? I think that sounds more likely.
.___. wow…. mmkay….
what disease is 1:33?
Doom!!!!!
Every child that needs a computer or wants one should have one, free of cost…theres no reason for that not happening
Thats totally uncalled for…you should be ashamed of yourself
A monster! I was scared 2.
WTF was on 1:33
